ABOUT DR. LUSIA

Dr. Lusia Fomuso, PharmD, DBA, MPH, is a clinical pharmacist who specializes in Pharmacy career coaching, Pharmacogenomics (PGx), medication safety, and medication education. For two decades she has worked in different pharmacy settings including retail pharmacy, managed care, hospitals, industry, and as a consultant.  

 

Dr. Lusia has a Master’s in Public Health and a second Doctorate in Business Administration that elevate her passion for teaching people to live their best and healthiest lives while being mindful of what they take as medication. As a 2 time TEDx speaker, she has had the opportunity to share her message around the world to people about taking charge of their health and also encouraging medication knowledge.

 

As an Advocate for Public Health, she was inspired to write a children’s book titled " Thank you, Essential Heroes" during the pandemic, that focuses on health care providers and essential workers. She also published a book about stress relief in pregnancy and one on pharmacogenomics called "Pharmacogenomics Basics".
